Shabab Al Ahli dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Al-Manama 's 40. Shabab Al Ahli looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American guard Deshawndre Washington (201, college: NM State) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners and center Qais Alshabebi (200-1991) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side American guard Tony Carr (196-1997, college: Penn State) responded with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import power forward Clinton Chapman (208-1989, college: Texas, agency: Diamond Sports) scored 22 points and 9 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
